We have it all only for you.

The basic needs of food, water, and comfort of our children remain a priority for our staff of the day-care unit. We have special arrangements for preparing the daily lunch meal for our children. The items on the menu aim at providing a balanced diet and better health and body to children. The filtered drinking water arrangements protect the children against any infections or becoming victims to any water-prone disease. Sanitation facilities work on the principle of cleanliness and maintaining hygiene. Separate washrooms for girls and boys is another way of teaching these differently-able children respect for the privacy of each gender. The play garden we maintain add to the fun and frolic that children have in their free time. The water pool at the backyard of the institute lets the children allow their leisure time doing water activities with each other. Music and dance activities time and again refresh the mind and body.

Our Approach

The empathetic attitude with which we take care of our children makes us different from others. It is the reason many parents that they want to associate with us. We have experts and a team working all day long on developing a curriculum that enables these children to become more and more independent. Our trainers attempt to let the children enjoy everything they do when they are with us.

We focus, attempt, and aim at promoting the learning at every step uniquely and distinctively

Home Plans

Home care is an integral part of a comprehensive treatment plan that we at Care for Autism aim to deliver to our autistic children. Parents are with children everywhere and all time. If they are well trained and aware of the activities they need to involve with their autistic children, it helps manifolds.

Care for Autism works in both directions. Experts treat children and guide parents. They aim, attempt, and put effort to help the autistic child live an independent life and at the same time train parents to be an active member of treatment plans. Home plans that our experts design for parents act as guiding pamphlets for parents. It helps them understand how to evaluate, encourage, participate with their children in activities that promote their growth and development.

Workshops and seminars at Care for Autism help parents be participants promoting the development of the communication, language, and speech skills, motor skills, cognitive abilities of an autistic child. We provide manuals that help parents to adopt methods that facilitate learning in a non-restricted environment. We talk about play therapy that helps children connect with parents through chase-and-tickle games, bubble blowing.

Speech therapy experts tell parents how to pronounce and use words with autistic children that encourage them to talk and speak. We initiate and let parents use developmental theories to help their children build social communication skills.

Separate skills are told to parents to handle aggressive behaviour and reduce its intensity and frequency. Home plans is an initiative by Care for Autism that let know gaps come in the learning and development of autistic child whether with us or at home. It also helps us reach out to more children who need care and different approaches for learning, growing, and living an independent life.

CCTV Security Surveillance

CCTV security surveillance in CFA helps us attempt our best to monitor, regulate and check the functioning and working of the centre. It helps to maintain the discipline of the centre. The constant monitoring facilitates the management to keep an eye of check on teachers and trainers. Screen in the parent-monitoring room that our centre allows parents to come at any time and watch their children doing activities in their respective classrooms.

CCTV footage satisfies parents that their children are secure and safe even when away from home. This technological innovation adds to the concern and care CFA extends for its children’s security and safety.

Parents of special-needs children frequently worry about their child’s nutritional needs and may feel overwhelmed or unclear about how to design a nutritious and balanced food plan that matches their child’s specific demands. For this, our Centre, we offer a comprehensive dietitian consultation facility to help our children achieve their health and optimal growth. Here, we have a Pediatric nutritionist who is specialized and qualified to work closely with children with special needs to assess their dietary requirements and develop personalized nutrition plans tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We understand that children with special needs may have unique dietary needs and challenges, and we focus to provide a safe and supportive environment where they can achieve their nutritional goals. Children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) are commonly affected by eating disorders. Their preference for energy-dense food with low nutrition can alter their metabolism, leading to the accumulation of oxidative radicals, causing them to deteriorate mentally and physically. We also provide guidance on eating techniques and strategies that help children with eating difficulties. In addition, the Pediatric nutritionist works closely with other professionals involved in a child’s care to provide a coordinated and integrated approach for their nutritional management.

In House Kitchen

Care for Autism is a place that aims to serve the best to every special child in every way it can. After therapies and treatment plans comes the food essential of children with autism. These Children are generally sensitive to the taste, smell, colour, and texture of foods which at times restricts their diet and intake of food. They start avoiding and disliking foods and even whole food groups.

Hurdles that come their way are difficulty focusing on one task for an extended period. It affects their ability to sit and eat. They find it difficult to eat with a spoon and without help. These issues are an integral part of CFA plan training children with autism in daily living activities. Our helpers and trainers make arrangements for food and set up an environment that helps children adjust and adapt.

Trainers spend at least 15-20 minutes daily with each child, making them learn the techniques of eating food, holding a plate, using a spoon, finishing the meal, and many more habits that make them able to self-feed. They try to identify sensitivity to tastes, colours, smells, and textures as the barriers to a balanced eating plan. Cooks in our in-built kitchen add to the menu new foods and trainers attempt finding easy ways to approach sensory issues.

Our trainers make sure that children get meals same time every day. It is one of the simplest ways to reduce stress. Dietician and Nutritionists consultants plan and design our children’s diet plans. They make sure that there remains no deficiency in the nutritional needs of the child.

Experts help and train parents to deal with and reduce food tantrums of their children by advising them to initiate and bring changes in food items and environment settings.
