Dr. Atul Madaan, a distinguished licensed clinical psychologist, holds a PhD in Psychology and an MPhil in Clinical Psychology. His academic journey includes Graduation in Radiology,a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology, a Foundation Course on Education of Children with Learning Disabilities, and an MBA in Hospital Management. Dr. Madaan is registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and the New Zealand Psychologists Board. He is an International Affiliate Member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and a life member of the Indian Association of Clinical Psychology (IACP) and the Somatic Inkblot Society, USA.

Dr. Madaan's extensive work experience includes internships at VIMHANS in Delhi, Ashoka Neuropsychiatry Hospital in Jalandhar, and the Institute of Mental Health & Hospital in Agra. His MPhil training involved exposures at the Air Force Central Medical Establishment, Delhi Psychiatry Centre, National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped (NIMH), and NIMHANS, Bangalore. He has also served the Department of Corrections in Hamilton, New Zealand as a Clinical Psychologist. Notably, he was the Director of Psychological Services at Ashoka Hospital and HOD & Consultant Clinical Psychologist at NHS Hospital in Jalandhar. Currently, he is the Operational Head at Care For Autism centres in Ludhiana and Jalandhar, managing a team of occupational therapists, speech therapists, special educators, behavior therapists, and psychologists.

Dr. Madaan has contributed to the field through his research and publications. He has presented papers on personal values and coping among adolescents, religious coping in counseling, and the effectiveness of neuropsychoeducation in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder at national and international conferences. His research papers have been published in reputed national and international journals.

As an educator and trainer, Dr. Madaan has conducted workshops on cognitive behavior therapy, learning disability assessment, and psychotherapeutic skills. His achievements include intellectual property rights on coined concepts like “Knowledge is Confidence” and “Neuropsychoeducation.” He is a co-author of a book“Childhood Disorders: Measurements and Management” and has received awards such as the University Honor Roll from Lovely Professional University and the Shri Baljit Shastri Award from Amity University.
